    Role Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

     

     

    This role sits within the Wholesale (Global Banking (GB), Commercial Banking (CMB), and Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF)) Basel III Reform Programme.

     

    The User Acceptance Test (UAT) Analyst will act as an analyst for testing by the Transformation UAT Team on projects; a key project is the B3R Collateral delivery.

     

    The UAT Analyst will need to rework business requirements into suitable test requirements, plus be able to create UAT test cases from test requirements. The test analyst will also execute UAT test cases and will raise any issues as per the communicated UAT team processes.

     

    The UAT Analyst Lead will work closely with other UAT Analysts in the Transformation UAT team, as well as with the Transformation UAT Team Lead to; review test ing: 0pt; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\">requirements, business processes, drafted UAT test cases, and to discuss any issues/defects raised by the UAT Team. There will also be a requirement for the UAT Analyst to liaise with the relevant IT Teams, some of which are based offshore.

    Particular expertise is required around

     

    ·         Prior experience working within HSBC is desirable

    ·         UAT activities related to the following; test requirements conversion, test cases creation, execution of manual test cases

    ·         Testing of business-related scenarios is desirable

    ·         Experience of working with a test repository tool, such as ALM QC, is desirable.

    ·         Experience of the Jira tool is essential.

    ·         Understanding of end to end credit process and hands-on experience with testing of collateral management systems and credit risk systems in general is desirable

    ·         Good interpersonal skills, for engagement with team members/management/IT resources

    Domain Knowledge

    Experience:

    ·         Proven track record as a Test Analyst with multi-year experience within the Financial Sector and ideally with a focus on Wholesale banking and Credit Risk

    ·         Desirable to have experience at HSBC within regulatory projects or Credit Risk
