Job Description:

• The job description of a Senior Data Solution Architect for Snowflake, GCP/AWS are as follows:

  1.      Minimum of 10+ years of in-depth experience in Data Lifecycle Management, Data Modelling, Enterprise Data Warehouse technologies, ETL and BI Solutions skills.

  2.     Solid experience with relevant hands-on skills in the areas of Data Architecture on-premise and Cloud, Big Data Engineering, Relational Databases and NoSQL Databases

  3.     Good experience/knowledge in Data Gove
  ance, Data Science and Data Visualization

  4.     Experience in Architecture, design and implementation of Data warehouses, data pipelines and data lakes on Snowflake’s Cloud Data Platform.

  5.      Expertise in Snowflake platform with design and implementation experience including Data Modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, Data pipelines for various data sources, implementing stored procedures, managing standard DWH and ETL workloads for efficient performance. Have experience in implementing different kinds of data workloads like Datawarehouse, DataLake, Data Science etc on Snowflake’s Cloud data platform

  6.     Very good understanding of Snowflakes advanced concepts which includes virtual warehouses, low latency query performance using micro partitions and pruning, data loading, zero copy clone, time travel, resource monitors and security & Access control methods

  7.     Sound knowledge and understanding of the one of the Cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services or AWS services in providing technical direction to teams on architecting, designing, building, deploying  cloud based data and analytics solution for enterprise applications

  8.     Experience in Architecture, design and implementation  of Data warehouses, data pipelines and data lakes on GCP, leveraging services like GCS, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud Data Flow, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Fusion, Cloud BigTable, Data Studio, Looker, Google AI Platform etc with knowledge on GCP services for Data gove
  ance, data operations, monitoring etc

  9.     Implementation experience in Bigdata tools and technologies like Apache Hadoop, Kafka, Apache Spark, YARN, Hive, HBase, Apache Atlas, SQL, RESTful services.

  10.  Experience in Pre-sales support including responding to RFPs/proactive proposals/PoVs in providing solution approach, technical solution architecture, estimations, defining project implementation timelines, Risk & Mitigations, Best practices  with strong client facing and presentation skills. Taking the lead role in strategic pursuits and proposals.

  11.  Ability to lead datawarehouse/datalake migration projects including optimizing technical reliability and improving data reporting, dashboards and BI performance.

  12.  Strong experience Software development life cycle with DevOps and DataOps, JIRA, Git, Github, Docker, Jenkins, Kube
  etes, CI/CD pipeline for Data projects.

  13.  Consults on implementing fit-for-purpose , cost optimized cloud based data and analytics solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget) with Snowflake and native technology options

  14.  Passion for Data & Analytics discipline, problem solving approach and appetite to go extra mile for helping clients

  15.  Come with complimentary Industry and business domain experience of at least one of the BFSI, Telco and Media and Healthcare and Life Sciences

  16.  Lead a team of Solution Designer and Engineers in building MVP prototypes, POCs and initiate the client engagements and hand off to Delivery teams

  Nice to Have:

  1.      Experience with GCP services as Compute Engine, Application Engine, Kube
  etes and Cloud Functions, Exposure to AI/ ML services in GCP

  3.      Experience and exposure to AWS Cloud data services like AWS S3, EMR, Glue, RDS, Redshift, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Kinesis, Athena etc.
