Job Description:

• The job description of a Senior Data Solution Architect for GCP are as follows:

  1.      Minimum of 10 + years of in-depth experience in Data Lifecycle Management, Data Modelling,  Enterprise Data Warehouse technologies, ETL and BI Solutions skills.

  2.     Sound experience in Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Big Data Engineering, Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, Data Gove
  ance, Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Visualization, Data Warehouse, ETL and Data Migration, Data Modelling, Database Administration, Performance Tuning

  3.     Sound knowledge and understanding of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services in providing technical direction to teams on architecting, designing, building, deploying  cloud based data and analytics solution for enterprise applications

  4.     Experience in Architecture, design and implementation  of Data warehouses, data pipelines and data lakes on GCP leveraging services like GCS, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud Data Flow, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Fusion, Cloud BigTable, Data Studio, Looker, Google AI Platform etc. GCP services for Data gove
  ance, data operations, monitoring etc

  5.     Experience with most of the following technologies (Apache Hadoop, Cloudera HDP, Kafka, Apache Spark, YARN, Hive, HBase, Apache Atlas, SQL, RESTful services).

  6.     Experience in Pre-sales support including responding to RFPs in providing Solution Approach, Technical Solution Architecture, estimations, defining project implementation timelines, Risk & Mitigations, Best practices  with strong client facing and presentation skills. Taking the lead role in strategic pursuits and proposals

  7.     Leads datawarehouse/datalake migration projects including optimizing technical reliability and improving date reporting, dashboards and BI performance

  8.     Strong experience Software development life cycle with DevOps and DataOps JIRA, Git, Github, Docker, Jenkins, Kube
  etes, CI/CD pipeline for Data projects

  9.     Consults on implementing fit-for-purpose , cost optimized cloud based data and analytics solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget)

  10.  Passion for Data & Analytics discipline, problem solving approach and appetite to go extra mile for helping clients

  11.  Come with complimentary Industry and business domain experience of at least one of the BFSI, Telco and Media and Healthcare and Life Sciences

  12.  Lead a team of Solution Designer and Engineers in building MVP prototypes, POCs and initiate the client engagements and hand off to Delivery teams

  Nice to Have:

  1.     Experience with GCP services as Compute Engine, Application Engine, Kube
  etes and Cloud Functions, Exposure to AI/ ML  services in GCP

  2.     Big Data technologies of Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Spark, Kafka, ZooKeeper, Hive, Pig, Impala, Sqoop, Flume, Oozie, Data Lake, Cloudera/Hortonworks etc

  3.     Experience with Collibra, Confluent Kafka, Teradata, SAS, NoSQL Cassandra etc

  4.     Experience and exposure to AWS Cloud data services like AWS S3, EMR, Glue, RDS, Redshift, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Kinesis, Athena etc.
