  Project Overview: Multiple Projects in BI and Analytics area providing self-serve and analytics capabilities to business using emerging technology or upgrade of existing technology landscape .

  Contractor’s Role: IT project manager responsible for the gove
  ance of end to end project execution , commercials , communication and risk maangment . Detail responsibilities are also mentioned below , pls refer point #6 ( task and responsibilities).

   

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management/ Computer Science, or related technical discipline

  • Overall 8+ year of IT experience with 4+ years of direct experience in project management role, during which time you successfully drove continuously improved team performance with software development teams

  • Experience working with executive stakeholders, product owners, project sponsors, and/or upper management

  • Exhibits strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills

  • Strong problem resolution, advocacy, and ownership of issues and risks

  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills

  • Proactive, consistently demonstrates initiative to take ownership of resolving issues and gaps

  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards

  • Experience with project estimations, forecasting resources, and managing project budget

  • Own full alignment across dependent teams within a release train; manage risks and dependencies such that all parties are aligned with delivery strategy and sequence

  • Experience leading data driven or web solution projects

  • Drive project execution and communication as necessary to ensure a shared understanding of dependencies.

  • Working experience with Agile/Scrum tools (Jira, Kanban, Confluence)

   

  Nice to Haves:

  • Master’s Degree in Project Management or related technical discipline

  • Industry Certification – PMP, SAFe Agile, Prince2, Certified Scrum Master or other project management certification

  • Experience leading software development projects, implementing database and data warehouse solutions on MS SQL Server and Oracle, or implementing BI solution projects.

  • Mastery of project management practices and standards for risk management, resource management, budget management, managing roadmap, and deployment/implementation planning.

   

  Tasks & responsibilities

   

  • Managing all phases of systems development from concept through implementation and maintenance.

  • Overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects.

  • Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Manages the development of the technical strategy.

  • Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures. Able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD and DRP sessions.

  • Manage project Commercials : budget , cost approval

  • Project risk management and Reporting project process to stakeholders regularly.

  • Qualify value delivered.

  • Focus on execution excellence including practices and efficiencies through automation.
