  Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer

  Location : Pune

  Position : 1

  Shift timings : 12.30PM to 9.30PM IST

  Interview : 2 rounds

   

  1. Project Overview: You will be part of a diverse and talented software private passport team that is leading our strategic evolution. Project work will require dynamic Cloud Engineer to secures, manages, and maintains a highly available hybrid cloud environment composed of multiple technologies. This includes building, automating and securing the cloud environment in Azure. The engineer will be responsible for the design, develop, implement, and support the robust multi cloud environment. The candidate will continuously support the goal of automation and improving security, reliability, and efficiency.

  a. Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools for provisioning resources, configuration management, workflow creation, modification, and deployment.

  b. Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and security configuration to detect, remediate, and enforce security standards in Azure.

  c. Perform manual and automated cloud configuration assessment to identify weaknesses in multi cloud environment.

  d. Identify automation opportunities to improve DevOps operations.

  e. Provides tool, process, and technical support during all phases of the cloud resources lifecycle.

  f. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.

  g. Define and implement appropriate policies for Azure security capabilities

  h. Investigate and resolve complex cloud infrastructure related issues (including security), recommend and develop solution to mitigate the issues, document resolution steps.

  i. Address non-compliance, audit, pen testing, and assessment findings resolutions.

  j. Participates and support in various projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the cloud environment.

  k. Performs situation analysis and makes recommendations for solving problems.

  l. Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects

  m. Document and design various processes

  al policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws.

   

  3. Experience Level: Over all 5+ years of exp is required

  Azure DevOps : 3+ years

  CI/CD : Bamboo & Jenkins : 2+ years

   

  Qualifications:

  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or higher as well as related field of study or equivalent experience.

  • Working experience with DevOps tools, processes, and procedures.

  • Working knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps best-practices.

  • Holds relevant certification in AZURE.

   

   

  5. Must have skills :

  a. Extensive DevOps experience developing and delivering products in a collaborative, agile team environment.

  b. Proficiency in Azure IAS, Azure PAAS, Azure DevOps (Azure Kube
  etes Services a plus).

  c. Three (3) years of professional experience with cloud computing in Microsoft AZURE (ADO).

  d. Experience securing Azure environment.

  e. Experience assessing Azure environment for compliance.

  f. Strong Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse or other CI/CD tool.

  g. Working experience with DevOps tools, processes, and procedures.

  h. Strong Experience with creating technical solutions that are pragmatic and align to business needs.

  i. Strong collaboration, communication, and coaching skills; ability to navigate social and political issues inside the organization.

  j. Ability to solve complex technical problems.

  k. Ability to mentor and grow other software engineers.

   

  6. Nice to Haves:

  a. Proven understanding of DevSecOps concepts, and has implemented or working knowledge of using those skills.

  b. Managing and maintaining software defined infrastructure environment, configuration and build scripts for app production environments.

  c. Maintaining operational stability; enforcement of security measures, testing, development and deployment of new Infrastructure related technologies.

  d. Coordinating production systems, information systems, and technology infrastructure necessary to support application/platform prior to deployment.

  e. A working understanding of code and script (Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, etc).

  f. Experience with Azure solutions such as App Services, Service Fabric, App Insights, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups and monitoring tools.

  g. Integration with ServiceNow and ServiceNow CMDB a plus.

  7. Tasks & responsibilities :

  As an DevOps engineer within our team, you will be responsible for migrating old CI/CD tool and versions control to Azure Devops(ADO). Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools for provisioning resources, configuration management, workflow creation, modification, and deployment. Integrate ADO with other tools i.e. ServiceNow etc..

  Managing and maintaining software defined infrastructure environment, configuration and build scripts for app production environments.
