Job Description:

• Compute/Storage experience on Linux and Wintel and with Ansible experience.

   

  Skills Needed:

  • Multi-discipline SRE resources with experience in using Ansible to provision and manage on-prem infrastructure
  • Experience with Networking and Security OR Compute (Linux/Wintel) and Storage infrastructure
  • Should be comfortable with creating and configuring Ansible playbooks and modules. Hands-on experience with DevOps tool chain is a must
  • Ability to work closely with operations team to identify automation opportunities and apply software engineering techniques using the following
  • CICD tools - Bitbucket for Source Control, Bamboo for Continuous Integration, SonarQube for code quality and JMeter for load testing
  • Has experience in Kube
    etes configuration preferable
  • Should be comfortable with Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira)

   

  Activities:

  • Review the Automation/IOE CICD tooling setup, processes, standards and ways of working
  • Ensure the tooling and processes are fit for purpose and ensure the end to end automation pipeline is fully functional
  • Identify metrics and measures to ensure value of SRE team
  • Identify Automation Opportunities
  • Implement Automation backlog
  • Prioritise backlog
  • Deliver end to end automation  (Infra/Networks/DR processes etc)
