  Skill: Linux Admin

  Exp: 4-8 Years

  Location: PAN India

   

  JD for Linux Admin:

   

  1.            Performing the tasks assigned by the customer and updating the status on a day-to-day basis.

  2.            Will be part of DevOps team where tasks related to Linux infrastructure need to be performed as per requirement as part of inflight projects.

  3.            Desired to have knowledge on either ansible or puppet as the environment is managed via puppet/github.

  4.            OS upgradation tasks from RHEL 7 to 8 and understanding of Oracle Linux 7

  5.            Assisting team in BAU related activities as required, with RedHat satellite tasks, patching in addition to the project work.

  6.            Coordinate with peer teams to work on completion of tasks in project work as per the timelines.

  7.            Working experience on RHEL 6,7 and troubleshooting issues related to services.

  8.            Knowledge on RedHat IDM or RedHat Identity Manager.

  9.            OS Installation, patching update via Satellite on RedHat servers to maintain a non-vulnerable estate.

  10.          Managing User related tasks, LVM related tasks, mounting local and nfs file systems

  11.          Implementing DNS, syslog servers, NFS server and client configuration, NTP & FTP Configuration, Network Management

  12.          Hardening of Servers as per CIS benchmark and OS Firewall management

  13.          Centralized OS repository creation and management

  14.          SSL Certification Management to renew certificates for web server applications.

  15.          Actively participate in DR Drill Activity from planning till execution.

  16.          Migration of Servers, Decommission of Servers, Patch deployment on RedHat

  17.          Knowledge on automation tools like ansible and puppet.

  18.          Troubleshooting issues related to Apache vhost configuration.

  19.          Assisting in software deployment releases as part of DevOps Lifecycle management.
