  SharePoint and Power Platform Developer

  1. Project Overview : NT Mode
  Intranet (NNI) - The updated Northe
  Trust intranet which is supposed to replace the existing Partner Passport aims to feature improved search functionality, targeted newsfeeds with more visual storytelling and Microsoft 365 integration and will utilize a mode
  communication design to deliver an improved, contemporary experience for partners across the enterprise. The updated NT Intranet is slated to be rolled out by Q3 2022.

   

  2. Contractor’s Role:

  Extensive SharePoint, Office365 and .NET Design and Development

  Design, enhance, support, and develop applications and provide expertise to our enterprise/commercial clients.

  Act as a consultant/SME to our clients and lead and perform Full-stack design development: both front-end and back-end on client projects.

  Create and deploy medium/high complexity layouts and components using C#, MVC, .NET, Visual Studio.

  Participate in Agile development processes and follow best practices for Source Control

  Help develop estimates for projects

  Create WebAPI services and client-side JavaScript and frameworks.

  Develop and configure workflows, security, search, and templating on Microsoft technologies including Azure and Office 365

  Develop and support Power Automate solutions.

  Implement security configuration using groups, roles and permissions.

  3. Experience Level : Level 3 (8+ years)

  4. Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required in Computer Science or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, and Web Services.

  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint and O365 development

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MVC, jQuery/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React/Angular required.

  • Experience with DevOps (GitHub, BitBucket etc.). Azure DevOps experience is a plus.

  • Strong software development skills with a solid understanding of project cycles, integrated development environments, and source control technologies.

  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines.

  • Ability to work well and collaborate with peers in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  5. Nice To Haves :

  • Experience with Azure infrastructure and services preferred

  • Previous consulting experience a huge plus

  • Microsoft certification(s) in SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure

  • Agile experience

  6. Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Design, enhance, support, and develop applications based on project specifications.

  • Provide expertise to enterprise/commercial clients.

  • Perform full stack design and development on Microsoft Tech Stack(.Net/C#/SharePoint/PowerPlatform/HTML/JavaScript/ReactJS)

  • Participate in Agile development processes and follow best practices for Source Control.

  • Develop and support Power Automate solutions.

  • Perform Unit Tests of the code developed.

  • Attend daily standups.

  • Participate in design review and discussions and perform peer review of the code developed by team members.
