  Senior SAS Engineer / SAS Administrator

   

   

   

  Proficiency on operating Unix OS, shell scripting knowledge is preferred.
  Knowledge on basis Unix tools such as nmon, top, topas.
  Able to look at server level to find the cause of high cpu, memory leakage etc and consult with Server Team accordingly

   

   

   

  
  Expert in SAS Administrative activities such as planned SAS reboots, identifying the execution order of any activity involving SAS.
  Expert in using SAS Management Console
  Able to coordinate with various teams, seek approval, communicating about the SAS Execution Plan
  Able to investigate a new problem or issue with SAS and related infrastructure
  able to always communicating to SAS Users and be available to them for their urgent issues
  coordination with major incident team for any severity issue, laying out the resolution plan and executing it effeciently.
  identifying the root cause of a reoccurring or a past severity issue, implementing the fix by following change management process
  always enabling team to progress work, take ownership and drive the project forward
  able to work on ticket tools, jira etc and seek approvals from change management

   

   

   

  
  proficiency in multi tier SAS environments and able to understand the relation between them to understand a wider problem
  enabling a sas environment to make connection to a exte
  al database, understanding the tools required, network changes etc and getting the things done.
  promoting the changes from lower regions to prod
  knowledge in Base SAS and SAS DI Studio and LSF
