  A successful candidate will be part of a multi-country project from the Wholesale Credit&Lending IT Team

   

  Overview:

  Wholesale Credit & Lending business has launched a strategic initiative: the POST-APPROVAL programme. Its goal is to streamline various Operations activities happening between the Credit Approval and the Loan drawdown. The expected outcome is to reduce the “time to cash”. This will be achieved through two angles:

  - enabling Customers to request some lending action (eg. Drawdown, Roll-overs) directly on HSBC Custome channels.

  - implementing an improved workflow for Operations staff.

  This is initially being implemented in 9 markets which will be followed by additional markets.

   

   

  The role of Test lead is to be responsible for the coordination and successful execution of end-to-end testingacross different systems for the POST-APPROVAL stream-lined jou
  eys.

   

   

  TEST LEAD

  Key Accountabilities:

  ·       To be accountable for the quality of the end-to-end product delivered and the impact of quality assurance to the time to market of the product.

  ·       Develop and manage the test approach for the overall programme aligned with the programme test strategy, including both functional and non functional testing (eg. performance, resiliency...). 

  ·       To agree and to deliver to testing plans/milestones and drive artefact delivery as per this plan.

  ·       The Test lead will need to work with the test manager to actively own the execution of all testing activities, even if they are performed by various teams/pods that aren’t under his/her direct management.

  ·       Work with the technology teams to accommodate the Agile (Sprint) development methodology

  ·       Status Reporting to the senior stakeholders with attendance at appropriate forums.

  ·       Represent and champion quality assurance in the programme and to stakeholders

   

   

  Requirements:

  ·         At least 5-years of working experience in a role of Test Manager / Test Lead.

  ·         Full lifecycle experience for static & dynamic testing, functional & non-functional, UAT & OAT.

  ·         Experience working with structured Quality Assurance methods within a Global IT programme.

  ·         Experience working in similarinitiatives, i.e. integration projects with several systems involved (~5-10), change management impacting several line of Business.

  ·         Experience of implementing testing strategy within an Agile methodology with test automation principles.

  ·         Experience on testing API is key

  ·         Experience working on Workflow/BPM/Orchestration tool is desirable but not essential

  ·         Experience of using relevant software packages –Jira, Confluence – would be an asset but isn’t essential
