  Skill: Validation Engineer

   

  BDD (Gherkin) using Cucumber:

  Job Description for Validation Tester (No of Position -2 )

  • Ensuring that the execution of the validation life cycle process meets customer requirements specification (CRS) 
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and compliance of validation deliverables by plan/lead/review/train/guide/support of the validation process as per QMS
  • Actively participate in the Validation Life Cycle of regulated medical software projects by planning validation deliverables, working on validation documentation, traceability matrix, validation protocol development, validation testing and deviation management; and working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Drives the overall validation testing for the software product to ensure predictable outcome 
  • Guides/mentors/coaches team members on the validation process
  • Work cross-functionally to implement improvements to the validation practices; while adhering to the regulatory validation requirements, company QMS procedures, and industry best practices
  • Approves executed testing documentation as a reviewer
  • Plans for validation for a release based on validation requirement, tracks and reports progress to PMO team on validation.

   

  Skills and experience Needed:

  • BTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • At-least 8 years of relevant experience with experience in creating test strategy, test plan, traceability matrix and test execution report for validation of regulated software products
  • Experience in managing the validation process in regulated medical industry is a must with knowledge of related standards such as ISO 13485, 14971, 27001 etc.
  • Experience in BDD (Gherkin) using Cucumber
  • Exposure in Test Automation on various platforms (Web and/or Mobile applications) is a plus
  • Experience with the usage of Azure DevOps is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Version Control tool (Git) is an advantage
  • Experience in working in and with agile teams, knowledge of SAFe
  • Good command of both English language, both spoken and written
  • Team player, accurate and analytical
