  Job Title : Agile Scrum Master & Agile Project Manager

  Location : Pune

  Positions : 3

  Shift timings : 10AM to 7PM IST

   

  1. Project Overview:

  The Scrum Master facilitates the planning, tracking and other day-to-day activities for an Agile project delivery team. This role requires solid practical experience and techniques, as well as theoretical knowledge. The Scrum Master collaborates intensively with their team members across both Business and Technology disciplines providing mentoring and coaching around Agile principles and practices. In addition, he/she acts as a servant leader and aids with the resolution of blocking challenges.

   

  2. Contractor’s Role:

  • 1. Advanced interpersonal skills – able to establish strong working relationships and promote bi-directional communication within and across teams.

  • 2. Able to organize, moderate and demonstrate value-add principles and practices to the teams.

  • 3. Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project management, and individual and team building skills.

  • 4. Experience with developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, coordinating timelines and efforts and operating under tight time constraints.

  • 5. Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

  • 6. Able to effectively facilitate discussions and suggest alte
  ative approaches.

  • 7. Be transparent and provide visibility to Business and Technology.

  • 8. Develop and grow trust across the project team(s), Business and Technology.

   

  3. Experience Level:

  Senior - Level 3 (10+ yrs)

   

  4. Qualifications:

  Graduate/Post Graduate degree or equivalent degree required.

   

  5. Must Have skills:

  • Total experience should be more than 10+ years

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of basic software development methodologies and fundamentals (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall, etc.).

  • Experience with developing, testing and deploying software utilizing a rapid, iterative delivery method.

  • Understanding of all facets of the software development life cycle including: planning, requirements management, development, quality assurance, change management and release management.

  • Exposure or awareness of continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and tools.

  • Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, Rally, VersionOne).

   

  6. Nice to Haves:

  • Agile Certifications - CSM, PSM, SSM.

  • Experience working in SAFe framework

   

  7. Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Is able to coaches and support the team to self-organize, use agile and the Scrum framework, limit work in process and continuously improve.

  • Is able to creates and maintain an atmosphere of continuous lea
  ing and improvement by team.

  • Is able to facilitate all scrum events, keeping all events within the time box.

  • Is able to coach and support the Product Owner to manage the product Backlog.

  • Is able to shield the team from outside interference - Identifies, resolves or escalates impediments that slow development or prevent the team from delivering.

  • Is able to work to identify and address organizational impediments.

  • Is able to foster and encourage team transparency through information radiators / big visible charts.

  • Has good amount of experience working with teams performing Infrastructure upgrade work.

  • Has high organizational skills and time management skills , ensuring team is delivering as per commitments.

  • Is excellent in facilitating dependency and impediment management.

  • Has analytical skill to pro-actively identify the risk and communicate to Leadership without fail.

  • Has problem solving skills to help the team to resolve  the issue by effective facilitation.
