  Job Description – Pega Developer

   

   

   

  Job Location: Pune, Hyderabad

   

   

   

  Responsibilities

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  ·         Design and develop Pega based applications.

   

   

   

  ·         Contribute in all phases of SDLC- scope, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, build, product configuration, documentation, testing and deployment.

   

   

   

  ·         Design class structures, application frameworks and data models.

   

   

   

  ·         Adhere to PRPC best practices, ensuring stability, scalability, easy maintenance and efficient performance.

   

   

   

  ·         Contribute in estimation, planning and delivery against committed timescales.

   

   

   

  ·         Identify and manage project risks.Ensure regular communication to relevant stakeholders regarding blockers/issues.

   

   

   

  ·         Provide assistance to production support team whenever required.

   

   

   

  ·         Ensure and drive the environment build process in automated fashion.Improve efficiency by identifying new and innovative ways of automating the Release deployment process

   

   

   

  ·         Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities for improved platform stability and service delivery.

   

   

   

  
  
  

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  Experience / Certification / Skills
  
  

   

   

   

  ·         Minimum 5 years of development experience in PRPC version 7.x/8.x

   

   

   

  ·         Certified Senior System Architect

   

   

   

  ·         Experience in Integration aspects of PRPC based applications

   

   

   

  ·         Experience in improving the overall performance of application

   

   

   

  ·         Good understanding of Object Oriented programming.

   

   

   

  ·         Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology

   

   

   

  ·         Basic understanding of SQL

   

   

   

  ·         Good understanding of tracking tools like JIRA, RTC

   

   

   

  ·         Understanding of UNIX/LINUX, Oracle, WebSphere, MQ - Good to have

   

   

   

  ·         Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins -Good to have.

   

   

   

  ·         Experience with source control and version control tools likeGitHub. – Good to have

   

   

   

  ·         Good communication, collaborative and presentation skills
