  Roles & Responsibilities:

   

  · Data mining using state-of-the-art methods.

  · Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.

  · Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.

  · Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.

  · Writing analytical queries using SQL & PL/PGSQL code.

  · Write and maintain technical documentation

  · Participate in meeting and discussions with customers, work closely with DBAs and analysts

   

  Skills and Qualifications:

   

  · Experience as Data Scientist.

  · Experience working with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL

  · Experience working with LINUX based OS like CentOS/Ubuntu/Fedora

  · Make enhancements to the existing Queries/Functions/Procedures as per the requirement

  · Tune existing code; provide query optimization support, including creation of new Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, etc.

  · Optimize other Developer Queries as needed

  · Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python.

  · Great communication skills

  · Proficiency in using query in SQL & PL/PGSQL

  · Good, applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

  · Good scripting and programming skills

  · Data-oriented personality.
