  Job Role: Infrastructure QA Lead -EUC/Digital/Storage

  Location: Pune

  Duration: 6 months ( C2H)

  Level of experience: Overall 9+ till 12. Min recent 4+ exp working as lead

  Shift: EMEA

   

  Project Overview:

  SQM Infrastructure Testing practice manages the quality of infrastructure projects and changes, such as patching, upgrades, integrations, and emergency fix. The team is responsible for testing the changes in terms of Platform, Network, Security, Middleware, Database, Storage, End User Computing and Digital Services.

   

  Contractor Role:

  • Responsible for Infrastructure Test Strategy for Infra Changes and Projects.

  • Primary expectation is manage program demand intake, quality delivery, test planning, schedules, risks and issues, incident analysis.

  • The lead is responsible for general project management elements like planning, execution, monitoring, testing, and project closure to embed quality delivery for infrastructure Engineering & Operations projects.

  • Accountable to deliver estimate efforts, track financials, hold monthly meetings with Infra leadership and address failed changes incidents and identify do better opportunities.

  • Accountable to drive quality efficiencies and effectiveness using automated solutions for Infrastructure Server Platform changes, testing life cycle and change process optimization.

   

  Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Lead testing of Infrastructure components

  • Lead and executing testing for one or many of the following Infra components - Platform, Network & Security, End User Computing, Digital Services, Storage, EMS, Database, Middleware

  • Lead /Perform Disaster Recovery/Failover testing

   

  EUC/Digital/Storage- Testing of storage device upgrades, digital devices and end user computing changes.

  - Network LAN/WAN TCP/IP Principals and Security infra components (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers)

  - Experience with VPN /Azure VPN and MFA.

  - Hands on Experience Windows/ Linux/ MAC OS.

  - Strong storage background in one or more of SAN, NAS, NDMP, NetApp, Block level protocols (SCSI, iSCSI, Fiber channel , FCoE. File level protocols (NFS, CIFS) , Replication , High Availability , Virtualization and Backup/Recovery systems and applications.

  - Lead the monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of storage and backup issues with technical teams and technology vendors.

  - Analyze all storage level changes, monitor impact and provide appropriate technical solutions to resolve all issues efficiently.

   

  Go to Have:

  - Understanding of Cloud technology/infrastructure and Kube
  etes /Docker will be a great asset.

  - Experience in coordinating architecture, design, testing and implementation activities for multiple work streams/projects.

  - Analytical and effective problem solving skills.

  - Lead, mentor , communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a distributed team.
