    Active Directory and Identity Engineer

     

    EAIT is looking for a highly motivated & experienced (3-5 , 6-10 , 10+ years) Systems Engineer with a strong understanding of security best practices to join our Windows and Identity Services Operations Team. We are looking for candidates with experience supporting and managing both Active Directory and Azure Active directory, Azure or AWS cloud administration, and experience integrating with an IAM platform such as Okta.

    The successful candidate will possess Excellent communication and documentation skills. They will work as a member of the EAIT Operations team supporting our Microsoft platforms, both on premises and in the cloud.

    Responsibilities - The selected candidate will:

    • Provide support to global Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controller performance/replication/backup, permissions auditing, user account management, implementation of Group Policy and DNS changes.

    • Be able to manage and support Windows server technologies including:

    o Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, Windows Cluster Services, Microsoft Certificate services (PKI), Group Policy administration.

    • Have experience integrating Active Directory identities and configuring applications for SSO within an industry standard IAM tool such as Okta.

    • Troubleshoot and solve end-user issues within password and secrets management systems like Hashicorp Vault and Beyond Trust Privileged Identity Manager.

    • Demonstrate experience using PowerShell for administration, reporting, and automation • Participate in system performance tuning and technical troubleshooting sessions with the operations team and grow into the role of a subject matter expert.

    • Work with our engineering teams to fine tune and secure Active directory and Azure infrastructure using industry best practices.

    o Ability to review AD rights and permissions, identify risk and perform necessary changes as required.

    o Plan and design Group Policy Objects as requested to ensure compliance of servers and workstations with company policies.

    • Create and maintain a documentation knowledgebase for reference and training. • Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.

    • Perform their duties ethically and with a strong focus on enterprise security.

    Qualifications/Required Skills and Experience:

    • Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies (Group Policy, Kerberos, NTLM, DNS, DHCP, DFS, PKI, understanding AD trust relationships, etc.) at a globally distributed organization.

    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and troubleshooting. • Experience with enterprise level multi-domain forest administration in a global organization. • Experience working with Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud configurations (Hybrid Azure AD,

    Azure AD join, Azure AD domain services, Conditional Access, Windows Hello for Business etc.) • Experience applying technical security standards and baseline configurations to Office 365, active directory, Windows servers, and workstations.

    • Experience using basic API calls to interact with applications for administration. • Experience supporting a cloud based VDI solution.

    Desired skills:

    • Experience with Privileged Identity and secrets management systems like HashiCorp Vault and Beyond Trust Privileged Identity (formerly Lieberman Red / ERPM) or similar.

    • Experience with Office 365 administration or Azure cloud administration
