  Job Role: Infrastructure QA Lead -Network/InfoSec

  Location: Pune

  Shift: EMEA

  Position: 1

  Duration: 6 months (C2H)

  Level of experience: Overall 9+ till 12. Min recent 4+ exp working as lead

   

  Project Overview:

  SQM Infrastructure Testing practice manages the quality of infrastructure projects and changes, such as patching, upgrades, integrations, and emergency fix. The team is responsible for testing the changes in terms of Platform, Network, Security, Middleware, Database, Storage, End User Computing and Digital Services.

   

  Contractor Role:

  • Responsible for Infrastructure Test Strategy for Infra Changes and Projects.

  • Primary expectation is manage program demand intake, quality delivery, test planning, schedules, risks and issues, incident analysis.

  • The lead is responsible for general project management elements like planning, execution, monitoring, testing, and project closure to embed quality delivery for infrastructure Engineering & Operations projects.

  • Accountable to deliver estimate efforts, track financials, hold monthly meetings with Infra leadership and address failed changes incidents and identify do better opportunities.

  • Accountable to drive quality efficiencies and effectiveness using automated solutions for Infrastructure Server Platform changes, testing life cycle and change process optimization.

   

  Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Lead testing of Infrastructure components

  • Lead and executing testing for one or many of the following Infra components - Platform, Network & Security, End User Computing, Digital Services, Storage, EMS, Database, Middleware

  • Lead /Perform Disaster Recovery/Failover testing

   

  Network/Security

  - Must have working technical knowledge of Infosec technologies across multiple domains such as firewalls, VPN , Cloud security etc.

  - Experience with Network infrastructure and device commissioning.

  - Experience with planning and leading network deployments.

  - Experience planning and coordinating with operation technicians, engineers, contractors and/or vendors.

  - Good understanding of Cloud technology/infrastructure.

  - Creating different ways to solve existing threats and security issues.

  - Configuring and Implementing/Maintaining intrusion detection systems and firewalls.

  - Network monitoring, analysis and tuning.

  - Information security concepts and familiar with security products like checkpoint, cisco , Symantec etc.

  - Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.

  - Impact analysis for changes to be implemented/Deployed.

   

  Go to Have:

  - Understanding of Cloud technology/infrastructure and Kube
  etes / Docker will be a great asset.

  - Experience in coordinating architecture, design, testing and implementation activities for multiple work streams/projects.

  - Analytical and effective problem solving skills.

  - Lead, mentor , communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a distributed team.
