  It will be based in India, 100% remote and it will be graveyard.  2:30am IST-10:30amIST

   

  I have included the job description that I had mentioned I would forward with regard to our “Mid-Level” or Tier II candidate.  This would obviously scaffold up or down depending on the level of the candidate we are evaluating.  For our Tier 1 candidate we would adjust experience to about 1-3 years, 3-5 years for Tier II and adjust up for our Tier III or Senior candidate at +5 years preferably 5-7 years of AWS experience.   

   

  Hopefully, this will help in scaffolding the appropriate skill set for the position and level of Cloud Developer/Engineer we are seeking to fill.

   

  TOP 5 SKILLS: 

  1. 3-5 years of Cloud Engineer experience - someone who can pick things up quickly -  (AWS, Azure, Google, depending on team)
  2. 2-3 years of Terraform/infrastructure as code experience
  3. Needs someone who comes from a development background, not a systems engineering back ground - they have to have an interest in coding and have a developer mindset with hands-on experience or preference for hands-on work.  The position requires hands-on development.
  4. CICD pipeline experience is a must to deploy code
  1. Experience with other languages such as .NET, Python, node.js are helpful because they have to be able to create APIs and troubleshoot issues for customers and participate on bridge calls 
  1. Verbal and written communication skills need to be up to par - they will be interfacing with stakeholders/customers on a regular basis.
