  Job Title: QA - Test Automation Analyst

  Location: Pune

   

  Shift timings: 12.30PM to 9.30PM IST

  • Reason for Request: Need this position to enhance and add new capabilities to Enterprise Automation Framework to increase its adoption across NT.

  Project Overview: Add new capabilities to Enterprise Automation Framework. It supports multiple technologies – Web, API , Database, Mainframe, Windows.

  Contractor’s Role: Understand existing tools & technology landscape. Based on requirements onboard new components/libraries to framework. Help Teams adopt Enterprise Automation Framework solutions.

  Experience Level: Mid Level : 5 to 7 years of exp

  Qualifications: [All items necessary to be able to complete this job]

  a. Strong hands on experience and programming skills in Java

  b. Strong hands on experience in Designing & Developing Automation Frameworks

  c. Should have used various open source or licensed tools/libraries(Selenium/RestAssured) for UI, APIs, Database Automation

  d. Should have worked on TestNG/BDD Automation framework/approach

  Must to have :

  a. Java

  b. Selenium

  c. UI/API automation

  d. Banking domain background

  a. Experience in DevOps/CI-CD Tools - SCM-Git, CI Server(Any), Maven

  b. Microfocus UFT/LeanFT

  c. Experience with Cross Browser testing

  d. Expert in QA process, techniques & méthodologies

  6. Tasks & responsibilities [Full list of responsibilities contractor will complete]

  • Advance product quality via testing innovations and process improvement•

  • Collaborate with BAs, Architects & Developers in designing testable applications

  • Design & manage technical proof-of-concept and feasibility studies

  • Resolve technical issues, anticipate risks and ensure timely management escalation

  • Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of automation defects & issues

  • Influence and communicate effectively with both technical & non-technical audiences

  • Promote and support implementation of automated CI/CT/CD pipeline

  • Develop & extend test automation frameworks for UI, Micro services & API

  • Guarantee compliance to automation framework, standards & best practices

  • Facilitate automated, on-demand test automation metrics

  • Ensure automated tests are run early & often providing quick feedback to the team

  • Accelerate test development process by leveraging existing assets, standards & best practices

  • Add new functions/methods to the libraries for continuous improvement
