    Interacting with Service Now to generate, operate, and maintain IT Service Management tooling and workflows that serve to mature the company in its IT Service Management and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) disciplines. As a Service Now Engineer, will be responsible for overseeing, designing, building, and maintaining multiple tools and workflows within the IT Service Management and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environment.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities:



      • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead & participate in Service Now infrastructure upgrades, migration, configuration, support, maintenance and ServiceNow related technical escalations inte
        ally & with vendor. 

     

      • Work with colleagues/stakeholders across geographies and time zones with a variety of teams to refine and implement proposed enhancements to the Service Now tool. 

     

      • Perform pro-active analysis on day-to-day work to obtain automation on deliveries thereby reducing repetitive and standardized tasks/processes.? Automate processes wherever possible/feasible. 

     

      • Conduct relevant Knowledge Sharing & Training sessions to develop skills of junior team members. Provide guidance to team members on day-to-day basis as required. Ensure appropriate document creation and maintenance to a high standard.

     

      • Take the lead with new initiatives (ServiceNow upgrade, process simplification etc.), to drive inte
        al teams for new initiatives related to ServiceNow. Take ownership of technical deliverables and handle technical engineering escalations for the team. 

     

      • Adhere to inte
        al process to support the service, including change management, and incident management policy. 

     

      • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Service Management and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.



     

     

    Essential Skillset/Experience:



      • Experience of working on ServiceNow application development. 

     

      • Must have knowledge of Integration Hub and API integrations with ServiceNow. 

     

      • ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS) is preferred.

     

      • Demonstrated experience designing and developing process-based solutions. Demonstrated experience documenting user case processes and workflows.

     

      • Ability to transform Business Requirement into Business Process. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

     

      • Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communications skills along with demonstrated facilitation skills. Effective and clear communication skills (written, oral and listening), with ability to describe complex technical scenarios in a concise manner depending on the audience. 



    ·     Experience of IT Service Management and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

     

    ·     An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner.

     

    ·     Ability to orchestrate, manage, and successfully implement major procedural and technological change within a complex, global organisation.
