  JD:

   

  Role Description: Test tools Administrator is responsible for leading MICROFOCUS ALM tool Administration functions.

   

  Administrator has to maintain and add new projects, fields, workflows to MICROFOCUS ALM data elements.

  As required, maintain user accounts and authentication via LDAP/Active Directory.

  Ensure users have the right roles/permissions to accomplish their goals.

  Additional responsibility to perform MICROFOCUS ALM Upgrades; Plan and control upgrades as appropriate to support Testing cycles and users.

  Administrator should exhibit strong communication and technical skills that can manage customer’s enterprise MICROFOCUS ALM tool while providing guidance on the best use of these tools to inte
  al project teams.

  Administrator will also be responsible for enabling effective use of MICROFOCUS ALM to deliver inte
  al project team applications and end to end functional testing of integrated multiple systems.

  The Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining a high degree of Test tool availability and customer satisfaction.

   

  Responsibilities:

  • Setting up roles permissions for users
  • Customization and configuration of the project as per project requirement
  • Designing and developing workflows and configurations
  • Customizing within the dashboard/reporting module
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project and operational risks
  • Windows Server management from application standpoint
  • SQL & ORACLE database management from application standpoint.  
  • Ability to coordinate activities with various technical teams (network, database, architecture) to structure solutions
  • Development and communication of tool usage best practice
  • Understanding and developing of SQL Queries
  • Good knowledge of VB scripting
  • Experienced in QC OTA API/ REST API for maintenance and enhancement for inte
    al tools.
  • Understanding of ODBC
  • Knowledge in excel macro creation.
  • Knowledge of MICROFOCUS Sprinter Functionality
  • Service Now Ticket Management ( SR, INC, CR, PR, KB etc. )
  • VQD document management

  Co-ordination with Product vendors ( Microfocus)
