  1. Minimum 8 – 10 years or more experience is required for this role.

   

  2. Working experience in Agile methodology with ‘in-sprint’ automation

   

  3. Strong programming skills in Core JAVA to develop Test automation frameworks using automation tools like Selenium, TestNG and Junit, Cucumber (TDD/BDD), Gherkin.

   

  4. API Test Automation using KARATE or RESTAssured with Core Java.

   

  5. Strong experience in GIT, Maven and JMeter. Experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.

   

  6. Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax, Cucumber, BDD methodology, Gherkin syntax, JIRA, Jenkins (CICD exposure) and Confluence

   

  7. Solid experience in SQL queries and database testing.

   

  8. Experience in Test management tools like Jira. Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools

   

  9. Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills, attention to detail, thoroughness and strong ownership of work

   

  10. Hands on experience using source control systems such as GitHub

   

  11. Ability to execute the Performance testing using tools like JMeter.

   

  12. Expertise in Software development best practices.Strong understanding of CI/CD principles.

   

  13. Expert knowledge of writing technical documentation/defects and issues

   

  14. Understanding of cloud-based architectures

   

  15. Work across all POD activities and support across cross POD teams/ Quality Engineering teams in ensuring any testing related dependencies / touch points are in place. Delivering well structured, maintainable, and fully tested systems in time and budget. Working through the development and support phases of project delivery.

   

  16. Represent Quality Engineering at Scrum meetings, all other key project meetings and provide a single point of accountability and escalation for testing within the POD

   

  17. Establish effective working relationships across all stakeholders. Strong communication skills and experience in liaising with stakeholders.

   

  18. Provide recommendations to the Product Owner and/or other project stakeholders on the product readiness to go live.

   

  19. Provide on-going input into the overall process improvement of the Quality Engineering discipline. Mentor Automation Test Engineers and Exploratory Testers within the cross functional team.

   

  20. Need to demonstrate problem solving skills by providing suggestive ways and workarounds while at blocker instances to not hamper delivery or timelines.

   

  21. Need to close the gaps and work closely with team and measure the improvements. Contribution towards efficiency / Value addition.
