  Summary

  
  
  

  • Building and implementing CI/CD configurations for Dev, Data, and Infrastructure

   

  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers

   

  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.

   

  • Ensuring that systems/workflows are safe and secure.

   

  • Identifying technical problems within the workflows and developing updates and fixes

   

  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.

  
  
  

   

   

  Responsibilities

  
  
  

  • Deploy updates and fixes and provide Level 2 technical support.

   

  • Use tools like GitHub, ADO for Ci/CD

   

  • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve deployment technical issues.

   

  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

   

  • Understanding and base knowledge of containerization (specifically Docker)

   

  • Previous exposure, experience in a .NET environment (.NET 4.6 through .NET 6.0) and Data environment

   

  • First-hand exposure to Azure DevOps Pipelines and Boards (specifically related to creating CI and release pipelines)

   

  • Experience administrating Windows VMs and IIS

   

  • Fundamental understanding of cloud and cloud native (Azure)

   

  • Familiar with GitHub

   

  • Experienced with CI/CD concepts and has worked on a few projects.

  • Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role

   

  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows

   

  • Good knowledge of .Net, Python

   

  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL

   

  • Problem-solving attitude

   

  • Collaborative team spirit

  
  
  

  Preferred skills and qualifications

  
  
  

  • Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field

   

  • Experience with Windows-based containers

   

  • Terraform

   

  • PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
