  Person Specification

  
  

        1.    Proven detailed experience in designing mid to large-scale network solutions

  
  

        2.    Capable of bringing together expert knowledge from across the organization and consolidating it into a cohesive end-to-end solution

  
  

        3.    A forward thinker

  
  

        4.    The ability to effectively communicate and sell complex solutions

  
  

        5.    Experience in participating in virtual teams in a complex network environment

  
  

        6.    Technical knowledge of all major components of the network infrastructure used within the Barclays group (DataCentre-ACI, firewalls, load balancer.)

  
  

        7.    In-Depth knowledge of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP 

  
  

   

  
  

  Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  
  

        1.    Handling Cisco products like Routers and switches.

  
  

        2.    Hands-on experience in Cisco ACI, Nexus

  
  

        3.    Hands-on experience with F5 BIGIP load balancers

  
  

        4.    Fortinet Juniper, Checkpoint, and Cisco ASA firewalls

  
  

   

  
  

  Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  
  

        1.    Cisco - CCIE/CCNP (R&S/security) certified

  
  

        2.    Fortigate – FCNSA            

  
  

        3.    F5 –  CTS-LTM, CTS-GTM

  
  

        4.    Python, Ansible, shell scripting

  
  

   

  
  

  Process awareness:

  
  

        1.    ITIL change, incident and problem management

  
  

  Experience level:

  
  

        1.    overall 10+ years of industry experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in BFSI preferred.

  
  

  
  
  

  • Basically someone who has worked in designing and implementing Cisco ACI based projects
