    Responsibility Summary :
    Describe the major responsibilities of the position (i.e. the core responsibilities that  represent 80% of the work time).  Provide descriptions that convey the function and purpose of the position (i.e. lead a team of associates who recruit for entry level through Director level positions for the home office).  
     
    ·       Responsible for delivering on traceability, reporting and analysis within delivery team or project
    ·       Executes the Quality strategy for the delivery team or project
    ·       Authors and executes test scripts with little direction 
    ·       Builds effective relationships with peers in Product, UX, and Architecture to drive execution of QA strategy
    ·       Summarize findings and analyze the imacts and recommend solutions
    ·       Prioritizes thoughts & Ideas, able to edit message in to easily- digestible pieces both verbally and written 
    ·       Understands test debt and the teams manual requirements for regression and how these affect speed to market
    ·       Communicates information tailored to needs of the audience to reinforce team transformation and maturity
    ·       Participates in and supports the development of change management efforts for area of responsibility
    ·       Identifies process gaps/deficiencies and explores process improvements
    ·       Aligns individual objectives with chapter and firm Understands the firm\'s role and position within the industry
    ·       Posses capabilitiy to organize and deliver in an agile fashion by effectively using Jira and participating in Agile ceremonies
     
    Qualifications Required in the Job:
    Education/Certification or functional knowledge required prior to obtaining the position.   
    ·       Preferred Bachelor\'s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred, or related work experience
    ·       4+ years experience in manually testing web based, MF, client-based, SaaS and infrastructure applications.
    ·       Proficien in knowledge of Defect tracking software for agile teams. i.e. Jira, Qtest, etc
    ·       4+ years experience documenting test plans, expected test results, actual test results, identified issues, and steps to replicate accessibility findings
    ·       Expertise in mentoring and/or coaching multiple product teams within an agile software development organization
    ·       Demonstrated skill in strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills including the ability to create and maintain best practice documentation and practices, used across multiple systems and functional areas
    ·       Responds to direction, embraces feedback, and champions change
    ·       Ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of financial services industry and regulatory requirements
    Problem Solving:
    The degree to which problems are complex or non-routine.   The amount of fact finding, analysis and creativity required to solve problems.   The degree to which problems address single or multiple issues.  Give examples of the types of problems solved and the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, annually, etc).
     
    ·       Define quality test cases from requirements
    ·       Create \'what if\' scenarios to handle positive and negative testing
    ·       Consider the technical and system implications of system changes to ensure test strategy is appropriately defined.
    ·       Design comprehensive test strategy for complex projects based on technical, business and system considerations.
    ·       Define quality test cases from complex requirements
     
    Decision Making:
    The level of authority for making decisions and the degree of risk involved (the extent to which decisions are made without review and the corresponding business impact of those decisions).   The extent to which decisions are gove
    ed by precedent, procedures and guidelines versus broad direction.
     
    ·       Ensure appropriate and comprehensive test strategy for assigned efforts.
    ·       Analyze defects to ensure proper severity and escalate high priority defects appropriately in order to meet testing milestones
    ·       Determine test automation candidates based on system criticality, test frequency and functionality
    ·       Ensure the readiness of systems for production implementation and escalate conce
    s appropriately.
     
    Span of Influence:
    The breadth and depth of work performed.   The influence of the position in affecting business results of a department, division or the entire firm, i.e., the scope of the job.   The extent of responsibility for hiring, terminating, performance reviews and other human resource decisions.
     
    ·       The Span of influence will affect the quality of systems delivered. Efforts not tested properly will result in inaccurate results that could have monetary or other negative impacts to the firm.
