  Role Description

  Full Stack Lead role that will be responsible for the design and development of Group Data Technology owned Applications / services by providing technical leadership to the team to develop and deploy the application in a Agile way.

  The selected individual will have the right technical and design experience to drive design and implementation of  cloud native application/services, which may be ecosystem of APIs/microservices built using spring boot framework.  The candidate should have implementation and development experience with APIs, Spring boot, frontend end and database technologies on cloud. Experience in data pipeline architecture and buils or Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets are desired.

   

  Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design, Develop & Implement front end and back end features as per backlog/priority
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Proactively work with inte
    al customers to resolve their issues and respond to feature requests. 
  • Build APIs and micro-services that solve impactful business problems
  • Work in an agile CI/CD environment to deliver rapid iterations at a sustained velocity
  • Support teams socializing their APIs on the Inte
    al API Developer Portal

  ·         Identify, design, and implement inte
  al process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

   

  Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years overall experience in professional software engineering organization as a hands on developer. 
  • 3+ years in lead engineer role managing, building and delivering business solutions with a substantial front end and back end elements (Angular/React, Spring boot based backends)
  • Strong communication skills and able to successfully articulate technical concepts to both business and technology audience
  • Expert understanding in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, microservices, mode
     GUIs, Cloud deployment and DevOps.
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript and Angular.
  • Experience with database technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Experience with Neo4J or any graph DBs is a plus. 
  • Must have a stable work background with design, development & integration experience on cloud platforms (eg. GCP, AWS, Azure) in a continuous delivery environment
  • Experience with deploying microservices to Kube
    etes.
  • Expert level experience with REST APIs, open API development, and SOA concepts and a good understanding of design patte

  • Hands on experience designing and building REST APIs
  • Experience in Developer Process Automation (CI/CD & Code Management) like tuning and utilizing tools, such as, Jenkins, GitHub (including raising and reviewing PRs), Docker etc.
  • Experience with Service Virtualization, Functional and Performance Tests,
  • Experience with doing TDD, if they have done BDD then this is a big plus.
  • Experience in the design of cloud native applications is a plus
  • Nice to have experience with Kong API Gateway across API lifecycle development & management or similar API gateway products.
  • Working experience as a consultant across several domains/firms with an exposure to different technology platforms and architecture models is a huge plus
