  Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field. 7+ years of increasing responsibility architecting, positioning and delivering cloud/inte et facing applications Preferred Certifications: CNCF certified Kube etes Application Developer/Administrator, Google Certified Engineer; AWS Security certification / Azure Certified will be a plus Cloud security architecture experience in any of GCP/AWS/Azure. Ability to provide direction and guidance on architectural use cases and requirements Ability to produce hardened configuration standards for cloud services Threat modelling experience Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript and understanding of software vulnerabilities and vulnerability remediation Experience working with CSP managed container services such as A                   faWS EKS, GCP GKE, Cloud Run, ECS Fargate. Experience with Helm charts, Kube etes manifests, Dockerfiles, Terraform or Ansible. Excellent command of operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies Keen understanding of national and inte ational laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation Dev-ops and application security & data security experience Securing highly available inte et banking application Solution architecture skills required Knowledge of client side applications and micro services architecture Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools

  Responsibilities

  Analyze business requirements (functional as well as non-functional requirements) to design and develop optimal technical solutions using approved technology and software development tools and methodologies. Drive pragmatic approaches to solving key complex business problems through a variety of data management and business intelligence tools. Ability to bring the right data technique to solve the problem in an explainable manner to business partners. Ability to create clear, concise proposals for solutions following HSBC Architecture Gove ance and ways of working Ensure Solution proposal are in line with the Group Data technology level strategy and EA blueprint Ensure Solution designs are created as per prescribed Architecture Gove ance Framework (Decision Driven Design) and follows Unified Design Document template to cover Business, Data, Application and Technology views of architecture proposal Ensure Solution Designs are reviewed by appropriate reviewing body and approved at right gove ance forums as prescribed by the Architecture Practices. Design scalable, secure and resilient solutions utilizing cloud technologies (private/hybrid/public) Estimate solution cost (including tools, tasks, complexity, resources and time). Collaborate with business and IT service heads to better understand needs and provide necessary support. Establish appropriate implementation methodology to successfully own overall architecture & design and develop the solution. Provide overall technical leadership to the cross-functional team – coordinating the technical resources through the successful delivery of all project deliverables. Lead team on analysis, design, and coding activities to ensure successful component and project delivery. Provide technical guidance and conduct review of project deliverables to ensure quality and standard process adherence.
