  Job Description (vRealize for Cloud Developers)

  Position : 1

  Northen Trust needs automation developers to migrate the automations built on vRA 7.3 suite to the latest version of vRealize for Cloud

  Job Duties:

  • Review and analyze existing automation currently running on vRA 7.3 environment and migrate and lifecycle those automations to vRealize for Cloud environment
  • Develop new automations on vRealize for Cloud environment.
  • Ensure that automations are built as per Northen’ s Business continuity and Security control standards (Disaster recovery, vulnerability and audit standards etc.) .
  • Create projet documentation (Design documents, installation guides, support guides etc.)

  Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing automations on VMWare suite of applications using vRA/vRO 7.3 or above.
  • Strong experience with VMWare suite of products (vSphere, vRealize etc.)
  •  Experience Shell Scripting (BASH) and Python scripting on RedHat Linux 6 and above.
  •  Use of GIT based source code repositories (Github, bitbucket etc.). Proficient writing and utilizing IaC (Infrastructure As Code)

  Good To have Skills:

  •  Web applications development experience
  •  Shell scripting/PowerShell experience
  • Exposure to agile methods including BDD, TDD
  •  Experience with containers technologies – Docker/Kube
    etes
