• Job Description

  The Cloud Gove
  ance Lead (Region) is directly accountable to Head of Regulatory Engagemet Global Cloud Servies with a local reporting line to the Cloud Regional Lead, for ensuring effective and compliant delivery of Cloud gove
  ance initiatives in the region. The role is the primary relationship owner with the regional risk stewards, acting as a trusted advisor ensurind local requirements are captured within glocal Cloud gove
  ance initiatives, Regional implemetation of global Cloud gove
  ance initiatives and advice/support on all matters pertaining to regional goveranace of Cloud.

   

  This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:

  ·         Responsible for all Regional Cloud Gove
  ance activities, ensuring GLOBALFI’s regulatory, legal, policy and stakeholder obligations are adhered to with respect to Cloud.

  ·         Support the production of regional gove
  ance and reporting materials and analysis to inform senior management forums.

  ·         Responsible for the regional implemetation of the Cloud Management Model across all local markets along with the underpinning assurance activites.

  ·         Identify, promote and provide regional view of key Cloud Services thematic risks and issues. Ensure that the risks and issues are captured in all of the applicable gove
  ance forums across the region.

  ·         Be the local Cloud engagement point in region to provide responses to all local gove
  ance and/or regulatory matters.

  ·         Ensure effective and consistent regional regulatory engagement is in place across all markets, including actively responding to consultations on Cloud related policies and guidelines.

  ·         Lead the regional gove
  ance streamlining programmes.

  ·         Represent Cloud Services in Regional and Country IT gove
  ance meetings as appropriate.

  ·         Support Cloud Services Platform Leads to work with local Procurement, R&C and Legal on regional contractual Cloud Service Provider matters.

  ·         Ensure that region specific gove
  ance requirements are raised to and delivered by the global team.

  ·         Drive the Cloud vision and promote the use of technology trends within the region.

   

  Knowledge & Experience

   

  • Experience of 7+ years in relevant area
  • Experienced technology gove
    ance leader with proven experience in gove
    ing transformations
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Public Cloud Services, Platforms and Technologies
  • Functional knowledge of large-scale IT processes and strong experience in dealing with a complex matrix environment
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills. 
  • Proven experience in delivering business transformation through technology solutions.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in a collegiate fashion across the matrix
  • Ability to demonstrate constructive pragmatism and delivery focus.
  • Experience managing IT teams globally and across IT disciplines
