• Job Description

  As a Solution Architect, you will provide overall direction and guidance for the development of an architecture required to meet the business strategies and goals. You will focus on solution-based decisions and analyse their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes. You will analyse the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement as well as the development of strategies aligning IT to business. You will provide advocacy and support for the enterprise\'s IT strategies.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.
  • Participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
  Contribute to the IT strategy and ensure alignment with architectural strategy and business goals.
  Responsible for analysis, design, and development of roadmaps and implementation plans based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic requirements.
  Coordinate architecture implementation and modification activities.
  • Analyse the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
  Identify and, when necessary, propose variances to the architecture to accommodate project needs.
  • Perform ongoing architecture quality review activities relative to the specific portfolio they are responsible for.
