    Job Description:

    In this role, resource need to have a strong understanding of Networking in the dynamic infrastructure space. He/she will need to be familiar with multiple technology stacks in Networking and Communicating and collaborating with client and other technical support teams fix issues timely.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
    • Configuration and troubleshooting of cisco WLC and wireless Access points.
    • Good Understanding of various wireless bands (802.11 2.4Ghz,5Ghz, etc.)
    • Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability
    • Optimize existing network by adjusting radio network parameters, adding/deleting of neighbors, and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems
    • Configuration and Troubleshooting Routers, Firewalls, AP’s, Network Switches, etc.
    • Implementing LAN and WAN connections using switches and routers.
    • Setup of layer 2, layer 3 switching.
    • Configuration of routing protocols: Static, RIPv2, EIGRP, OSPF & BGP.
    • Switching: VLAN, VTP, and STP. VLAN’s, VTP and Ether channel
    • Other protocols: ACL, NAT, PAT, DHCP, HSRP
    • Good understanding of troubleshooting tools such as Packet tracer, Wireshark, etc 
    • Responsible for Event handling and incident resolution.
    • Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of the network systems.
    • Complete command on dealing with security systems, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, anti-virus software, log management, authentication systems, content filtering, etc
    • Investigating intrusion and hacking incidents, collecting incident response.
    • Responsible for Creating, documenting, and implementing procedures related to solution builds, device configurations and deployments.
    • Manage Customer escalations & work with cross functional teams for troubleshooting
    • Security Good understanding of WEP, WPA2 & WPA3 concepts.
    • Working hours (14.00 to 23.00 IST)
