Role Details
1) The ideal candidate for this role will have good knowledge of Unix/Windows operating systems and commands, basic knowledge on shell scripting & networking principles. Some exposure to Mainframes/I-series is desirable but not mandatory.
2) The associate should be familiar with the terminology of WebSphere MQ as a tool. Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Monitoring and other Middleware products such as WAS / Weblogic / Liberty /BPM will be an added advantage.

- MQ clustering
- Complete awareness of MQ message flows and review the MQ architecture.
- Troubleshooting of the incidents occurred in the MQ environment (Production & Test Environment)
- Knowledge of MQ on SSL implementation
- MQ client-server knowledge.
- Resolve authorization and connectivity problems.
- Knowledge of MQI calls
- Backup and Recovery of the MQ objects/messages
- MQ Contingency practices
- Understanding of MQ monitoring and configuration.
- Create basic UNIX shell scripts for MQ administration and Support activities.
- Strong practical experience with MQ in Production Environment.
- Good analytical and logical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills which are effective within a globally distributed team.
- Good time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Handling crisis calls, DQR & MIR
- Ready to work in 24x7 support environment.
- Basic knowledge of WAS/IHS Restarts, generating core/heap dumps, tshooting OOO/heap size errors tec
