  Key Responsibilities:

  We are looking for an experienced mainframe developer that is eager to lea
  a new system and enjoys working

  with multiple user groups to deliver new/expanded features and capabilities. If you’d like the opportunity to

  influence delivery and quality in your technical assignments, we would love to talk with you. The position’s primary

  responsibilities would be related to development and technical analysis tasks, but you will also be involved in the

  design approach to solve business problems.

  Your Role and Responsibilities

  ? Analyzes requirements for software programs or application enhancements

  ? Makes recommendations for programming specifications in CICS/VSAM

  ? Writes or modifies code for software programs, components or applications

  ? Performs development testing and audits results

  ? Supports and maintains software programs, components or applications in a production environment

  ? Creates and maintains documentation

  ? Researches technical problems and recommends solutions

  ? Drives completion of story card as assigned, develop code to make necessary data warehouse changes

  successfully unit test changes, participation in defect remediation, and supporting code deployment

  ? Builds SCM scripts where appropriate. Works with the release and deploy analyst from each application

  on deployment dates for the Gregorian Project code, updates and tags story cards appropriately.

  Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements:

  Education: Bachelors in computer related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems or Management Information Systems

  Experience Essential: ? 5-7.5 years experience implementing and developing mainframe systems ? 5-7.5 years experience working with most Mainframe technologies including: Cobol, CICS, VSAM, IMS/DB/DC, NDM, ESP, JCL, MVS, TSO/ISPF, WMQI, JES, VTAM, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure ? Experience with HTML, XML, JavaScript and Web Services ? Experience with application development and DevOps tools: Github, Endeavor, DBB, Jenkins, Test Automation, and Unit ? Technical Consulting and Technical Architecture experience in application development, testing, and deployment

  ? Strong Consultative Skills and successful industry solution and complex project implementation. ? Desirable: ? 5-7.5 years’ experience implementing and developing mainframe systems ? 5-7.5 years’ experience working with most Mainframe technologies including: Cobol, CICS, VSAM, IMS DB/DC, NDM, ESP, JCL, MVS, TSO/ISPF, WMQI, JES, VTAM, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure, Z/OS Connect, JCA/CCI Adapter
