  Domain Knowledge

  · Credit Risk framework

  · Collateral management within a wholesale banking environment (highly desirable)

  · Regulatory Framework and Basel III accord (desirable)

  · Understanding of risk management and credit mitigants

  · Knowledge of the full spectrum of Global Banking & Markets products and services from risk perspective

  · Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise

   

  Capabilities

  · Influence the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the Test approaches/plans

  · Manage and plan Test resources, responsibilities and schedules with good deadline management & communicate for

  delays, slippages

  · Lead and manage quality focused Test execution events in alignment with Test Entry/Exit criteria, timeline, budgetary

  and resourcing constraints.

  al and exte
  al stakeholders

  · Build relationship of trust with both Users and IT/Development Team

  · Measure and report progress, issues, dependencies and risks (as they pertain to Testing) to project or programme

  leadership and committees as appropriate and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to

  maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation

  · Testing coordination for multiple PODs working on different deliverables and track progress from overall program

  timeline perspective.

  · Act as a gatekeeper to production by ensuring appropriate Unit/SIT level testing performed by Developers/QA Team.

  · Highly proactive and able to work independently

  · Taking ownership of the deliverables and achieving desired outcome within agreed timescales

  · Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills

  · Excellent decision making and problem solving ability

  · Advanced judgmental skills to identify, record and resolve problems

  · Experience of working with disparate teams and resources located remotely

  · Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective

  · Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors

  · Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence is highly desirable

  · Strong IT skills (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)

   

   

  Experience:

  · Proven track record as an outstanding User Acceptance Test lead with multi-year experience within the Financial

  Sector and ideally with a focus on Wholesale banking and Credit Risk

  · Desirable to have experience at HSBC within regulatory projects or Credit Risk
