Job Overview:
• Creates, codes, manages, and delivers technical content that allows clients to navigate Mastercard\'s self-service tools and optimizes the customer user experience
• Accountable for structuring content framework, defining taxonomy and building scalable software solutions to house technical content
Responsibilities:
• Establishes a framework for developing and distributing consistent, reliable content to customers
• Serves as a subject matter expert capable of independently resolving most issues while keeping senior leaders informed of any potential risk
• Collaborates with inte
al resources and Mastercard business partners to drive the design of a content framework that meets end user requirements and increases reusability of content through profiling, topic reuse, relationship tables, and ditamaps
• Creates, organizes and updates Darwin Information Type Architecture (DITA) based, XML, API and other emerging content management technologies according to information model and markup guidelines
• Establishes and communicates standards for information types, structures, and assembly so that content is organized logically with the end-user in mind
• Partners with developers to construct style sheets and ensure consistency of language and product references
• Leads projects/initiatives as an individual contributor
• Provides architectural and technical guidance to less experienced team members
Knowledge/Experiences
• HTML/XML/API/Markdown experience is a must
Experience with OpenAPI specification tools, such as Swagger, is highly desirable
Experience contributing to the development of a framework for technical content in accordance with enterprise-wide content strategy
• Extensive experience researching and responding to complex content issues and inquiries
• Established ability to effectively communicate content standards across the organization
• Experience using established and emerging content management technologies
• Experience adhering to established content and taxonomy standards and guidelines
