  IT System Administrator

  - Managing Unix Operating System - Installation and configuration

  - Certified Unix system administrator (RHEL 7 & RHEL 8)

  - Hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, Operating system configuration, monitoring, performance and tuning, research and evaluation of tools and techniques

  - Creation of shell scripting and work on process improvement

  - Managing VMware and Cloud infrastructure

  - Good knowledge of ITIL concept, process and ServiceNow ticketing tool.

  - Excellent Troubleshooting Skill / Problem solving ability and Issue Management with effective escalation management

  Your team

  You’ll be working in the Compute Fulfilment team in Pune. We are a global team responsible to provide oversight and technical support for server implementations across business streams. This will be a global support and your support is required in APAC and EMEA hours

  Your experience and skills

  - Minimum 5+ years of experience in supporting and managing Unix operating system & infrastructure in an enterprise environment

  - Experience in a 24X7 environment with thorough knowledge of Unix operating system

  - Experience with installation/upgrading/configuring and troubleshooting OS

  - Strong knowledge and experience in Unix OS Inte
  als, Shell/Bash scripting, Virtualization Technologies (ESXi)

  - Strong knowledge on server hardware (HP/DELL/Lenovo/IBM), Chassis & blade configuration.

  - Reporting and Presentation skills – especially with regard to summarizing complicated technical issues and using MS-Excel efficiently

  - Identify automation opportunities in current delivery and should be able to utilize scripting knowledge to automate repetitive tasks

  - Basic installation and configuration knowledge of Databases Sybase/Oracle/PostgreSQL

  - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a high degree of credibility are imperative
