  Data architecture, exp. In dealing with emissions data, SQL, Hadoop, exp. in reporting/analytics

   

  A Solution Architect is responsible for the design of technical architecture. Key responsibilities will include;

  • Undertaking structured analysis of requirements and translating this analysis into technical designs that describe a solution
  • Being consulted on the design of a solution and working with asset delivery team when designing appropriate solutions
  • Looking for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Gaining an understanding of the overall strategy and how the architecture supports this.
  • Regularly connecting with fellow architects to draw on and share expertise and experiences
  • Ensuring architectural decisions align to agreed guardrails
  • Understanding the latest trends in technology and innovation, as well as new and future emerging technologies
