  Job Description - Performance Engineer

  • Single point of contact for key deliverables from the Performance & Quality Engineering team for a critical scalability program
  • Should have hands-on experience in Performance Engineering & Performance Testing
  • Experience working in fast paced, agile environments and driving Performance Test Strategy (including defining Scope, Application Landscape analysis, Test Data Generation, Performance Monitoring) for complex and highly scalable systems
  • Expertise  in SAP performance testing & execution
  • Expertise  in performance testing tools like Tricentis Neoload, AppDynamics
  • Excellent communication skills – comfortable talking to senior technical and managerial stakeholders to understand requirements and articulate the performance strategy
  • Proven Analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressured environment
  • Experience in creating performance test plans, test data, SLAs, analysis reports
  • Expertise in frontend, backend or API and Batch performance testing
  • Ability to drive Proof of Concepts and make toolset and framework recommendations based on application patte
    s, such as – Neoload, Load Runner, Jmeter, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk etc
  • Experience in tool setup, performance scripting,  dashboard integration and shifting performance testing into CI/CD pipeline
  • Collaboration with application architects, business and technical SME’s to define and test application performance SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Expertise in Performance tuning  - Application Level, Infra level, DB level, and Network level.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure Scalability – designing environments to align to performance testing requirements
  • Experience with one or more coding language (JAVA, etc) with some Development background will be an advantage
