  Role Description:

  The Cloud Project Manager will be responsible for overall execution and gove
  ance covering multiple work streams, adopting Agile practices to enable successful delivery of new products and services that protect HSBC. The role will be working in a multi-disciplinary team of Cloud Leads, Platform Owners, Engineers, and Architects, and will be responsible for driving forward project deliveries within the Asia Pacific geography.

   

  Responsibilities:

  · Project ownership on behalf of accountable product/platform owner

  · Provide thought leadership to develop and implement a new operating model for the services moving to the cloud

  · Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicting priorities and to influence senior executives

  · Maintaining a view of the cloud project portfolio including release dates for major changes

  · Regularly engage with Cloud technical project managers and project managers from application teams to understand project priorities and requirements

  · Managing stakeholder expectations on the delivery of cloud services

  · Develop and maintain a portfolio roadmap & pipeline of projects proposing to use cloud services

  · Raising project support requests (service requests) and/or project DevOps requests to support the delivery of cloud projects

  · Providing regular project management reports that include progress, plan, risks, issues and dependencies

  Requirements

  Essential Skillset/Experience:

  · Experience working as a Project/Delivery Manager in complex programmes

  · Knowledge of Agile project delivery with demonstrable experience, ideally with domain knowledge of any of, cybersecurity, machine lea
  ing or big data.

  · Experience managing Cloud Migrations and Application Onboarding projects

  · Strong familiarity with using JIRA and JIRA administration

  · Exceptional planning and leadership skills

  · Exceptional business and stakeholder management and communication skills

  · Experience of working with innovative teams creating bespoke solutions to novel problems

  · Experience of delivering solutions using Cloud and/or Big Data technologies

  · Working knowledge of private cloud and individual Cloud Service Providers (AWS, GCP, Microsoft)

  · Candidates with 8+ years’ experience may be considered for Senior Project Manager, while 3+ years may be considered as Junior Project Managers
