• Job Description

  The LDAP Directory Services Engineer is responsible for the evaluation, solution selection, process development, application integration and 3rd level support of new and existing LDAP directory services and supporting technologies.

  This LDAP Engineering team is responsible for:

  • Evaluation of current and future LDAP directory services software
  • Architecting and implementing new and updated directory schema
  • Architecting and implementing secure LDAP directory service access
  • Architecting and implementing directory services native replication and inter directory synchronization
  • Architecting and implementing directory server install, upgrade, patching and migration processes
  • Architecting and implementing directory server monitoring, backup and log maintenance processes
  • Architecting and implementing highly available directory services
  • Working with vendors to ensure product direction is consistent with FCA ICT vision.
  • Developing and communicating directory related processes and policies. Interacting with all FCA  ICT organizations and suppliers.
  • Problem diagnosis and resolution
  • Providing LDAP directory related application integration support and training.
