  Duties and Responsibilities:

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  Collaborate with business partners, architects, project managers, and IT Infrastructure colleagues throughout development

   

   

   

  Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.

   

   

   

  Understand Data Gove
  ance controls/standards and spread awareness among application teams.

   

   

   

  Increasing confidence and consistency in the quality of data.

   

   

   

  Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.

   

   

   

  Analyse data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.

   

   

   

  Document the application interfaces and usage of critical data assets.

   

   

   

  Ensure development compliance with established development methodologies, company policies and security standards

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  Qualifications:

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  At least 8+ years of experience working in Software development

   

   

   

  Min of 5+ years of experience in supporting data analysis/data modelling/data gove
  ance projects

   

   

   

  Experience with any of the Data gove
  ance tools Collibra/Information Analyzer/Business Glossary etc.

   

   

   

  Preferrable Expertise in Databases; Strong Experience is writing complex SQL queries to perform data analysis.

   

   

   

  Thorough understanding on data gove
  ance and extensive implementation experience

   

   

   

  Thorough understanding of data modeling and database programming

   

   

   

  Excellent communication skills – both oral and written

   

   

   

  Excellent problem solving skills and proven ability to systematically debug problems and isolate root cause

   

   

   

  Ability to work in a matrix environment – collaborating across different IT functions
