  JD : EMC Networker Backup Administrator

   

  • Backup Administration skills on EMC Networker
  • The primary responsibilities is to work on the existing or new incidents, service requests and Tasks
  • Install and troubleshoot remote backup agent on all the required servers
  • Configure and troubleshoot Backup Jobs
  • Identify and Troubleshoot Hung, long running, long queued and slow backups
  • Tape Management ( Physical and Virtual Tape Libraries), Tape assessments, tape ejects and Loads
  • Upgrade and Patching the Backup servers
  • Backup/ restoration ( DR) of Unix/Windows Host
  • Perform backup and restore using SOPs
  • Create reports as required using SOPs
  • Basic knowledge on Netapp and HPDP
  • Basic Knowledge about Unix and Windows Operating systems
  • Understanding on Incident Management
  • Knowledge of ITIL Frame work
  • Preferable on working service now ticketing tool
