  • What does this job deliver? (Key accountabilities)

    Responsible for delivering records management policy outcomes on behalf of a business Accountable Executive Develop and drive implementation of the Records Strategy, focusing on reducing volume of physical records while meeting required records management standards and ensuring records are stored and maintained in line with data privacy standards Lead and drive the paperless strategy and agenda for the business and the wider organisation Lead divisional stakeholder relationships with Legal and compliance, Risk and Audit and support the timely, effective and efficient delivery of all issues, projects and initiatives

     

    Purpose of job

    Support the senior leadership team to deliver the business strategy for privacy and records management and make sure that the operating rhythm is defined and managed effectively.

     

    Knowledge and experience

    • Experience of working in a leadership support or business management role

    • Broad knowledge of the customer business, key services and how it interacts with the rest of the organisation

    • Excellent experience of working with multiple business initiatives

    • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and the ability to use information to develop creative value add solutions is essential

    What are the accountabilities of the job?

    • Develop, maintain and verify record management systems

    • Ensure records are stored and maintained in line with data privacy standards

    • Review relevant of management information, providing ad[1]hoc analysis of data

    • Oversee and implement corporate gove
    ance as applicable to your business to ensure compliance

    • Plan and coordinate multiple work streams and reprioritise to create transparency on key deliverables and timelines across leadership

    • Work closely with the business lead to support in an advisory and challenge capacity in line with the organisation standards Conduct and Line of Defence

    • Comply with Our Code, all RBS Group policies, the Three Lines of Defence principles, the RBS Group Recovery Plan, ‘Our Gove
    ance’ (the RBS Group gove
    ance and controls document). Deliver, in line with risk appetite, against all relevant statutory, regulatory, supervisory and legal obligations, escalating conce
