· Assure quality of the application.
· Setting-up test environment.
· Responsible for the complete testing, right from the test planning to the test execution.
· Understanding and analysis of requirements.
· Develop test scenarios and test plans.
· Manual & Automated Testing
· Test Design and Test Case Execution
· GUI, Functional, Regression, Database, Load, Performance, Automation, Document, White Box Testing, Black Box Testing.
· Review and provide feedback on requirements, technical specifications.
· Writing Test case specifications, Bug Reports and end to end system testing.
· Reporting defects and problems that occurred during the test process.
· Preparation of software test evaluation reports.
· Stay current with new technologies and best practices.
Technical Skills:
· Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, science or information technology, or equivalent.
· Experience in software test strategies, test case management, software quality reporting, and identifying the right testing tools.
· Professional expertise in automation and manual testing.
· Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into use cases, test plan, test cases and test data according to technical specifications and designs.
· Demonstrated ability to create client-facing documents and presentations including formal UAT documents, test reports, test matrices, test cases, and release notes.
· Experience with QA automation tools including systems for issue tracking and test execution.
· The candidate should be proactive and should be capable to thoroughly test the application.
· 6+ years of UI automation experience on the open source testing tool like Selenium WebDriver
· Expertise in java coding and OOP’s concepts, design patte
s like Page Object Model and page factory in terms of developing the Automation framework from scratch.· Experience in developing framework in building the Cucumber BDD, Test NG, Git and Maven implementation and writing test scripts development, execution and debugging skills.
· Experience in WEB/API automation using Rest assured or POSTMAN tool.
· Expertise in System testing, Integration testing and Regression Testing areas.
· Strong functional testing background, including defining test strategy, test planning.
· Good exposure in reporting tools like Jira, ALM.
· Should have exposure in Agile methodologies and work with Dev and QA teams for quality deliverables.
· Demonstrated experience in performing the Load/Performance testing using jmeter.
· Familiarity with IT Infrastructure delivery and related process would be an advantage.
Other Soft Skills:
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
· Working across various cultures and geographies.
· Should be willing to work in shifts / on call in case required.
· Able to work independently, under least supervision.
